BOURNEMOUTH NORTH MANAGE A BUMPER EASTER COLLECTION FOR MYTIME YOUNG CARERS

Easter Weekend saw Members of Bournemouth North Rotary at the Tesco Store in Kinson collecting for “MYTIME Young Carers,” an excellent charity based in Bournemouth.

Their Web Site Home page says -

“WE BELIEVE THAT NO CHILD'S DESTINY SHOULD BE DEFINED BY THEIR BEGINNING”

MYTIME Young Carers is fighting to level the playing field for young carers. Young carers have been hidden in society for too long, with the vast majority juggling a huge amount of responsibility unsupported. At MYTIME we recognise and celebrate the incredible young people who do so much to support those that they care for. We believe that young carers should have access to the support, the friendships, and the opportunities every child deserves.

Following a very successful day the club managed to raise £310.00 from the very generous people of Kinson and the Photo below shows Chairman of the Club Fundraising Committee, Gabriel Shead presenting a cheque to Charlie James, Community Executive of MYTIME Young Carers, with Donna Lemon, Community Champion at Tesco Kinson joining the event.

Our thanks go to Tesco Kinson who so often support our fundraising efforts thus enabling us in turn to support so many excellent organisations in the North Bournemouth Area.
