A great night was had by all at the Elton John Tribute Dinner Dance held at the Village hotel, Bournemouth on October 29th. Over 100 members, partners and guests danced the night away to the authentic sound of Gary Setterfield and his Elton John tribute performance.
Preceded by a two course dinner, over 100 guests were treated to the great hits of Elton John including Crocodile Rock, Candle in the Wind, Sacrifice, I’m Still Standing, Don’t go Breaking My Heart, Benny and the Jets, Don’t Let the Sun Go Down and many others.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Bournemouth North, all profits raised on the night will be donated to local Charities including the Principal Charity for the night which is the Bournemouth Hospital Charity supporting people with Dementia. Special guests included Maureen Todd, Public Governor of Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals together with her husband David.
This was the 17th event of its kind organised by the Club having raised many thousand of pounds for Rotary and other local charities over the past 10 years.
