2020 Kinson Fete and Donkey Derby Cancelled due to Coronavirus

With great reluctance, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the club has had to take the difficult decision not to proceed with the Kinson May Day Fete and Donkey Derby this year.

Although much of the planning was already complete, circumstances entirely beyond our control has meant that this years event could not go ahead. Following Government guidelines the club had no alternative to but to pull the plug.

We sincerely hope that we can look forward to better times in 2021 and being able to carry on with the show as usual.

ROBBIE ROCKS AT THE VILLAGE

Danny Lowry had the room rocking with his “Robbie Williams Tribute Show” at the Village Hotel on Friday 6th March.

Young and not so young attended the event and enjoyed a two course meal followed by the excellent show put on by Danny. No matter what their age everyone was up dancing until the very last number not forgetting Danny’s encore demanded by the guests.

The room was flooded with music and colour as he performed many of Robbie Williams hits made famous over the years.

This was the 18th Fundraising Event organised by the Rotary Club of Bournemouth North over the past 10 years having raised tens of thousands of pounds for local Charities and good causes.

Funds raised at this even will be donated to Macmillan Caring Locally based at Christchurch Hospital.
